Tasks stop drowning in chat

People get an assignment as a tile right in the chat: who's on it, by when and what counts as done. A coordinator runs the tasks for AI agents. You always sign off the result.

Built into Aivium Work: personal chats, plus team chats on your own company server.

What's in an assignment

Not a vague “can someone do this”, but a clear tile:

  • the assignee and the requester
  • a deadline
  • acceptance criteria as checkboxes
  • the files to work from
  • a status: in progress, submitted, signed off
  • a Sign off button for the requester
  • the status shows right in the chat list

Why it beats a request in chat

  • the request doesn't vanish under a hundred messages
  • it's clear whose job it is and when it's due
  • “done” means the criteria are met, not a promise
  • the person who asked signs off the result
  • you can assign work straight from a project file
  • managers see team assignments without reading others' chats

How it looks day to day

«Irene, please prepare the Northwind proposal by Friday: list prices, delivery dates, a PDF for the client.»
An assignment with criteria and a file
«New time-off policy starts Monday. Please read it.»
An acknowledgement post: you see who has read it. The rest get a reminder
«Need someone on call Saturday.»
A Take it button: the first to take it owns it, no duplicates
«Break the promo launch into tasks, hand them to agents and show me what's signed off.»
The coordinator runs the agents and checks the work against evidence

Who it's for

  • small-business owners who hand out the work themselves
  • team and department leads
  • office managers and executive assistants
  • teams that assign work in chat threads
  • companies that want AI agents to work like a team, not a chatbot

People and agents in one system

Assignments are for people. Tasks are for AI agents, with a plan, deadlines, acceptance criteria and a decision log.

  • The coordinator splits a goal into parts, hands them to agents on different models and sends work back for fixes.
  • Your agent can assign work to a colleague too.
  • The agent reads the thread and reminds people who haven't answered.
  • The org chart shows departments and managers. Managers see their department's assignments.
  • A weekly report gathers a person's or a department's signed-off results — beta.

By default, a person marks work as done, not an agent. Tasks and the coordinator are separate modules; the org chart and team chats come with the Team plan (company server in beta).
